What type of car will I be driving... a race car or a street car?

At Racing Adventures all we have are race cars! Really cool Racecars!

Will I get to lap the complete track the first day or will I be on a skid pad all day doing exercises?

At Racing Adventures you will be lapping the full track the first day!

How long will we be in the classroom?

The classroom sessions are mixed in while others are on the track getting you on track right away.

How long will I actually be driving the car?

You will be on the track for around 8 hours per day and physically driving the car by yourself for about 3 hours!

What else is included... lunch, souvenirs?

Racing Adventures includes lunch, an 8X10 color photo of you standing beside the racecar, a certificate of achievement and our program credits toward a NASA race license when you do the Level 1 and 2.

Are there any follow up programs available?

Racing Adventures has level 3&4 programs that are advanced and are comprised of mostly track lapping with some instruction.

How many instructors will there be?

We generally have one instructor for every four students.

Do you go rain or shine?

Yes, the classes will run in all but the most severe weather.

Can I come and watch a spouse or friend?

You may come and watch the track session of a spouse or friend. You will be asked to stand in certain areas for safety. Cameras are welcome. Children under 14 years of age may be required to stand in a different spectator area.

How many women attend your classes?

Usually we have at least one women in each of our sessions.

How old do you have to be to participate in our classes?

You need to have a valid drivers license with at least one year of driving experience.

How many cars are on the track at the same time?

We put out up to eight cars on the track at once. There is no passing in level one while level 2 & 3 are all about passing!

How fast can you go?

In the open sessions towards the end of the day we allow you to go as fast as you like in a safe and controlled fashion. If we think you are over your head we will pull you in and help you get to the next level. Generally, depending on the track and your skill level, students average about 100MPH to 140MPH.

The Shoe Thing - School Footwear
We really only ask one favor when it comes to the way you show up at the school. This applies to your footwear. The pedals in the cars are closer together than you are probably used to, therefore shoes you consider OK may not be suitable for driving our cars. You want a thin soled, narrow shoes for pedal work! Not a jogging shoe!

The two shoes on the left are not suitable while the ones on the right are suitable.
Don't wear! Cowboy boots, hiking boots, motorcycle boots, jogging shoes, high healed boots, or shoes or anything else clunky!
You can wear boat shoes, tennis shoes, loafers, squash shoes, wrestling boots, race driving boots or shoes.

What about dates?

Please call us with the date you are thinking about. We will check and see if the equipment and track you request is available on that date. If it is... we have a date!!
Please note: The race tracks are very busy and therefore demand that we book them well in advance if possible. The more lead time the better.

What about event management?

Our company has been involve in many areas of corporate and event management. We will work with you to deliver the best possible and professional program and make sure it is successful for everyone involved! This is why they keep on coming back! We can even do your travel plans!

Why are your cars an advantage?

Our cars have a couple of advantages over the others.

• Most folks dream of driving the exotic style cars.
• We use real racecars - not modified street cars!
• Larger people fit in our cars.
• You don't have to crawl through a window to get in.
• The familiar set up of the cockpits is comfortable and allows the program to move along quicker.
• The wheels are under fenders so the chance of catching wheels and flipping a car is almost non-existent compared to an open wheel formula car.
• We believe the over all performance and experience of our cars are the best in the business!

What do you mean you get to drive the whole track and non-pace car laps?

Some schools will not allow you to lap the full track or will keep you behind a pace car all day. Others sit you in a classroom for hours and then have very limited track time. Always ask exactly what the school is going to provide for your honored guests!

What about driving suits and helmets?

We provide all the equipment your guests will need for a great day of fun.

Catering?

We have several caterers we work with in all the areas we operate in. We can create an event as extraordinary or super extraordinary as you desire. A regular lunch is provided unless upgraded.

What about locations?

We have several locations right across the US and Canada. This allows a corporate client to pick a location more convenient to them or a destination with many other activities available for there guests. These locations include Houston, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Calgary, Phoenix, San Jose, Toronto, Washington DC and West Palm Beach Florida.

For an extra investment we have often traveled to a specific area near a client and delivered a program exactly where they needed it!
