QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK ANY SCHOOL YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING

At Racing Adventures all we have are racecars! Cobras Repliracers and Corvette Racecars!

At Racing Adventures you will be lapping the full track the first day! By the end of the first day you will be lapping the track by yourself at speed!

The classroom sessions are mixed in with the driving session throughout the day while the others are on the track. This gets you on track right away.

You will be on the track for around 8 hours per day and physically driving the car by yourself for about 2.5 hours!

Racing Adventures includes an 8X10 color photo of you standing beside the racecar and our program credits toward a NASA race license when you do the Level 1 and 2.

Racing Adventures has level 3&4 programs that are advanced and are comprised of mostly track lapping with some instruction.

QUESTIONS FOR RACING ADVENTURES

We generally have one instructor for every four students.

Yes, the classes will run in all but the most severe weather.

You may come and watch the track session of a spouse or friend. You will be asked to stand in certain areas for safety. Cameras are welcome. Children under 14 years of age may be required to stand in a different spectator area.

Usually we have at least one women in each of our sessions.

You need to have a valid drivers license with at least six months of driving experience.

We put out up to eight cars on the track at once. There is no passing in level one while level 2 & 3 are all about passing and teach you how to do it properly!

In the open sessions towards the end of the day we allow you to go as fast as you like in a safe and controlled fashion. If we think you are over your head we will pull you in and help you get to the next level. Generally, depending on the track and your skill level, students average about 100MPH to 140MPH.

We really only ask one favor when it comes to the way you show up at the school. This applies to your footwear. The pedals in the cars are closer together than you are probably used to, therefore shoes you consider OK may not be suitable for driving our cars. You want thin soled, narrow shoes for pedal work! Not a jogging shoe!

The two shoes on the left are not suitable while the ones on the right are suitable.

Don't wear! Cowboy boots, hiking boots, motorcycle boots, high healed boots, or shoes or anything else clunky! You can wear boat shoes, tennis shoes, loafers, squash shoes, wrestling boots, race driving boots or shoes.

Our cars have a couple of advantages over the others.

Most folk's dream of driving the exotic Cobra Repliracers or Corvette style cars.
We use real racecars - not modified streetcars!
Larger people fit in our cars.
You don't have to crawl through a window to get in.
The familiar set up of the cockpits is comfortable and allows the program to move along quicker.
The wheels are under fenders so the chance of catching wheels and flipping a car is almost non-existent compared to an open wheel formula car.
We believe the over all performance and experience of our cars are the best in the business!

Some schools will not allow you to lap the full track or will keep you behind a pace car all day. Others sit you in a classroom for hours and then have very limited track time. Always ask exactly what the school is going to provide for your honored guests!

We provide all the equipment your guests will need for a great day of fun. You have to wear the helmets but can op out of the suits if you are wearing long pants.

GENERAL POLICIES

We will try to contact you to confirm your scheduled date but this is not always possible. Therefore please ensure that you confirm your school date and location 30 days in advance of the desired date with us by email or telephone.

While most other schools have a no show/no refund policy inside 60 days prior to the scheduled date we have come up with some different solutions. If for any reason you must cancel your school program the following will apply. If you cancel your program 60 days prior to your scheduled date or cancel a open date program you will receive a refund less a $150 administration fee. Refunds may take up to 60 days to process. You can reschedule to a future date (See below). If you cancel your program inside of 60 days before your scheduled program for any reason and do not pay the reschedule fee you will not be entitled to any refund. Programs cancelled, changed or rescheduled for any reason six months after the date of purchase are non refundable. If you do not show up on your scheduled event without any notice you will be cancelled with no refund or reschedule possible.

If you need to reschedule your date you need to do this at least 60 days in advance of your date to avoid a rescheduling fee or loss of your investment. Inside of 60 days of your original scheduled program date a $250 reschedule fee will be charged to you immediately and you may rescheduled at your convenience. However you will be placed on a list that will allow any new enrollment to bump you out if the space is required. You can then reschedule again for free into the next available space that fits your schedule. If this reschedule fee is not paid within 7 days of the cancellation/reschedule your program will not be redeemable in the future.

To guarantee your scheduled school spot a 25% payment of your total school program cost is required at the time of booking with the balance due 60 days before your scheduled. If you have paid your deposit with a credit card we will charge that credit card the balance of your invoice 60 days in advance of your school date unless otherwise notified by you.

The student agrees that the school, its instructors and personnel shall have the right at any time, which they in their sole discretion may see fit, to cancel their enrollment in the school, either before, after, or during any particular lesson or stage, for any reason whatsoever, and without giving cause. The School reserves the right to cancel a school day. We suggest that all traveling clients obtain travel cancellation insurance as the school will not be responsible for uninsured plane tickets, hotel or any other expense incurred by the student because of a cancelled school date. If the school date is cancelled by the school or track for whatever reason the student may reschedule at no charge but no refunds will be issued.

Guests are welcome to watch the school proceed but will be accommodated in a safe area away from the instruction and moving cars. Guests are not invited into the classroom session or near the on track instructional sessions.

Though it is rare - should the school car you selected fail mechanically during your school day we reserve the right to move you into one of our other school cars to complete the day.

Racecar insurance is available for your race day for our schol cars. You can accept or decline the insurance. You are responsible for the school car you may be driving. The cost for insurance is $100 per day for the full day programs and $50 per day for the half-day programs. This gives the student a $5000 deductible. In the event of an incident the cost of the incident up to $5000 (the deductible) will be charged to your credit card if you have the insurance. If for some reason your credit card declines you can make arrangements to pay the damage amount of up to $5000 by cash or bank draft within 24hrs. If the payment is not made within 24hrs your insurance will be considered void and you will be responsible for the full cost of the repairs. You must have a valid Visa or Mastercard credit card to participate. If you choose to decline the insurance you will be responsible for the full cost of the car repairs, the car and any other expenses the school incurs because of the loss of the car.

The pedals are very close together on our racecars. Large wide thick-soled shoes will not be allowed as they sometime catch on the wrong pedals. This includes many types of jogging shoes. This may cause a student to be refused entry into the program. Please review the shoe types that are allowed on our website.

Please be on time. A student may be refused entry into the program if they arrive after the program has started. They may then reschedule.(See Above)

We have no control over the weather conditions. We do run in the rain and the heat unless the school deems the conditions unsafe. If the school cancels a program due to weather the student will be issued full credit to book into a future date. If the student feels the weather is too extreme they may reschedule at their discretion.(See above)

Racing Adventures, Groove Union and Legend Motors Inc. reserve the right to change or alter these policies at anytime Any changes can be seen on our website at racingadventures.com. All disputes arising out of or in any way connected with this Waiver and Release or any other Waiver or policy provided by the school or their subject matter and all disputes arising out of or in any way connected with the "Student's" participation in the "School" shall be resolved through arbitration in Nevada for USA based programs and Alberta for Canadian based programs. The student will be required to sign a personal risk waiver by the track and the by the school on the program day. If you would like to request this waiver in advance of you purchased school day please contact our offices.
