What is a Skid Car?

Skid Car is a trade name for a wonderful piece of driver training equipment manufactured in Sweden. We use our Skid Car for our teenage Survive and Arrive programs. This is a great and rare opportunity for you as usually this piece of equipment is usually reserved for police and military. Driver training.

The best way to learn how to correct a loss of control in a car is to put the student into a loss of control situation and then allow a professional instructor to guide the student on how to regain control of the car. With the student driving the Skid Car allows an instructor to induce several different types of skids at any time at any place during a training session. The student and the instructor then work together to correct the skid!
